A huge southerly storm hit this week so of course I had to venture out into that biting cold. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, it’s winter and we live in a pretty wild part of the world famous for it’s wind. The southerly literally comes ‘straight outa’ Antarctica. It’s so cold and harsh and rough that it’s quite spectacular.

So I went out to Õwhiro Bay to check out the damage. The road was blocked off while workers cleaned up the damage from the night. But it was a couple of hours before high tide so they’d be there for some time.

Love it.
